Twist of a Hanky Panky
The Hanky Panky was invented in the Savoy âround 1920 by the legendäry Barwoman Ada Coleman. The drink was for one of their regulars, Actor and Producer Charles Hawtrey, who was searching for a Drink with a punch after a long days work. Within weeks she created that drink and one Day she proudly presented it to him.
“By Jove! That is the real hanky-panky!” was his reaction and from this moment the Drink was called the Hanky Panky.
The Original was made with Gin, but becouse of the intesity of the Smogory Forest i decided to give it a try and was really suprised. The Vodka works perfect with the Herbs of the Fernet Branca and the Different Spices of the Red Vermouth.

This is a Signature Cocktail created by me. I wanted to highlight the freshness and the flowery charecteristics of the Lake Bartecek Vodka. The Riesling Vermouth fits perfect to that flavour profile and provides a little sweetness as well. The instant infusion with the Tea lets me create a little more deepness and the one Dash of Peach bitters helps with the aroma and the fruity Flavour highlights the Spring, early Summer feeling. A really nice Aperitiv, try it out!
50ml Lake Bartecek
10ml Riesling Vermouth Belsazar
1 Dash Peach bitters
Rapid infused with Peppermint Tea ( Via Aero Press)
